Amarillo by morning up from San Antone
Everything that I have got is just what I have got on
When that sun is high in that Texas sky
I will be bucking at the county fair
Amarillo by morning Amarillo I will be thereThey took my saddle in Houston broke my leg in Santa Fe
Lost my wife and a girlfriend somewhere along the way
Well I will be looking for eight when they pull that gate
And I hope that judge aint blind
Amarillo by morning Amarillos on my mindAmarillo by morning up from San Antone
Everything that I have got is just what I have got on
I aint got a dime but what I got is mine
I aint rich but Lord Im free
Amarillo by morning Amarillos where I will be
Amarillo by morning Amarillos where I will be
